Police arrest man with fresh woman skull, hands in Lagos

The police in Lagos have confirmed the arrest of a middle-aged man found in possession of a fresh woman head and two hands at Muwo area of Badagry.
An eyewitness, Mr Solomon Adube, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Badagry that the suspect was seen carry a sack with blood dripping from it.
“The man was seen carrying a bag with blood dripping from it but when he was asked what was in the bag, he claimed it was bush meat, saying he had just finished hunting.
“The people insisted on seeing the bush meat but he didn’t oblige, so we suspected foul play and the bag was collected from him.
“Upon searching the bag, a head and two hands of a lady was seen in the bag and that was how people descended on him,’’ he said.
“The timely intervention of policemen from the Area K Command, Morogbo saved the suspect from being lynched by angry mob,’’ Mr Deji Sebonji, another eyewitness told NAN.
Lagos State Police spokesman, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, told NAN that investigation was underway to ascertain the identity of the victim.
He added that the matter would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti

Is he finished COMPLETELY or completely FINISHED?

... footballer thanks wife and girlfriend on live TV
That awkward moment when it seems like all the forces from your father and your mother side from the village have conspired to finish you completely. For Muhammad Anas, it is evident that unlike R Kelly whose “storm is over”,  Anas tongue is still loading from Apapa because his wife back home is ready to ditch to him (not the tastiest of meals) but the unrestrained strokes from an enraged housewife.
The Ghanaian striker who last week Friday goofed on live TV when he appreciated the combine effort of his lovely “wife and girlfriend”.
The 22-year-old striker who is clearly in trouble with his wife after scoring an own goal during a revealing post-match interview on live TV, which has been branded “the best man-of-the-match speech of all time”.
The winning speech from the ‘fortunate’ baller reads -  "Firstly I appreciate my fans," Anas began before adding: "[And] my wife and my girlfriend."
After realising his mistake, Anas attempted to make amends as the camera continued to roll.
"I'm so sorry, my wife!" he quickly added. "I love you so much from my heart."
"Thanks for supporting me there is more to come," he blundered on before the interview came to an end.
As a typical Nigerian man, in sympathetic resonance you will empathize with Anas because after all we men sometimes suffer similar ordeal after you done all you can pass wording your phones, especially your text messages and your social media handles; only for you to let your guards down and the cat jumps out of the bag, seriously my brother you are most likely completely finished only God can come to your rescue. Peace

Man docked over attempt to commit suicide

A 47-year-old man, Akeem Adeyemo, alleged to have attempted to commit suicide, on Tuesday appeared before an Oyo State Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting at Iyaganku, Ibadan.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Adeyemo of Odinjo area, Ibadan, was arraigned on a two-count charge of attempting to commit suicide and publishing a fake suicide note.
According to the Police prosecutor, Insp Sunday Ogunremi, the accused attempted suicide by consuming a powdery substance believed to be poisonous, on Feb. 27, 2009 at about 3 p. m.
“As a result of which he was rushed to the University College Hospital (UCH) for treatment, ‘’ he said.
Ogunremi accused Adeyemo of publishing a suicide note, directing that one Rauf Olaiya, should be held responsible for his death.
“He did this with the intent to injure Olaiya’s reputation and to expose him to hatred and contempt; also to ridicule his profession being an Islamic cleric,’’ the prosecutor said.
Ogunremi told the court that the offences contravened Sections 327and 374 and punishable under Section 375 of the Criminal Code Cap 38, Vol.II, Laws of Oyo State 2000.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Abiona Richard, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties, one of which must be a blood relation, in like sum.
Richard, thereafter, adjourned the case until May 5 for mention.

#BBNaija: Housemates produce hit single “See gobe”

After the initial frenzy that inundated the housemates as a result of the unprecedented visit of the ace music producer, Don Jazzy and the DNA twins, housemates have literally evolved and morphed from their rather psychedelic excited mode to more musically creative personas.
Their potential hit song tentatively titled “see gobe” by the writer, which is clearly the brainchild of the incredibly talented housemates, is one that will stick closely to your subconscious whether you like it or not.
With the set up of the mini studio in the house, housemates now have the enviable privilege and opportunity to be produced (on the spot) by the Mavin’s boss himself.
You can’t but enjoy the porpourri and harmonious blend of voices from the housemates.
Regardless of your cultural, moral, or religious reservations, one fact remains that the Nigerian youths are incredibly talented – this is evident in the constellation of talents that the house has produced since the inception of the greatly debated show hosted on a foreign soil – South Africa.
